I haven't blogged in a while (obviously) and for lack of better material...you get this.
Random pictures from my phone!
Exciting, I know.
This is outside my back door as of an hour ago. It rained all morning. Then it turned into icy rain. Now icy rain is snow. Which I do not love. Don't worry though...it is supposed to be sunny tomorrow. Sunny but still cold. Yup. Got to love Oklahoma weather.
Say hello to the puppies new favorite napping spot. A ridiculously ugly love seat straight from the 70s which now has a new home in my office. I thought of covering it but I have decided to embrace the ugly. Every home needs a conversation starter, right?
One of my newest purchases is this little guy from IKEA. Your eyes are not deceiving you because that is indeed a stuffed "animal" broccoli guy. I've decided that he was way too random to pass up. It is now my mission to make this my future child's favorite toy.
This may be the one and only time I have taken a selfie in the bathroom mirror and a little piece of me died on the inside when I did it. I had a valid reason! I was supporting the Ravens on Super Bowl Sunday by wearing purple to church. I want to show my mom. The end.
We bought Boomer a sweater that actually fits his wiener dog/bulldog body but alas...he hated it. The poor little guy moped around all evening while he was wearing it. Our normally jumpy little guy was gone. However, the bouncy Boomer was back as soon as that bad boy came off. Fortunately, the sweater fits Tiki so our money didn't go to waste. Boomer is now off the hook and Tiki has a new outfit for her sassy moods.
Nerdy, I know, BUT I actually beat the boy in chess. This may seems like small potatoes to most people but it is actually a HUGE accomplishment because he NEVER loses. Except this time...to me! He says he wasn't paying attention in this game. I say that he just didn't want to fess up to my superiority...or something like that. However, I sure did take a screenshot of that to commemorate the moment.
I really just wanted to show off the boy and his svelte new look. So far this guy has lost 80+ pounds just by changing his eating habits and getting off his butt. No pills. No magic shakes. No pricey eating plans. No major surgery. Just good ol' fashioned calorie counting mostly. I can tell that he feels so much better about himself and I am so incredibly proud of my boy. Plus, he is pretty darn cute.
And this is just pretty. And my new lock screen photo on my phone. Pretty sure it is from pinterest. But yeah...that is all I have folks. Have a great day!
Lol we went to ikea last month and my 13 year old picked the same broccoli my 11 year old- carrot
